70. A George III Parcel-gilt Mahogany Wall Mirror, Circa 1790

The rectangular mirror plate within a mahogany veneer and parcel gilt surround carved with foliage and pendant fruits, the cresting centered by a ho-ho bird perched on a leafy tip, a bunch of fruit in his beak. Provenance: bearing label of T. Pushworth and Son. 48" h, 25" w.

71. A Fine French Champleve Enamel, Gilt, And Silvered Bronze Mirror Garniture, Late 19th c.

Comprising a mirror and two candlesticks, the arched mirror surmounted by a bronze cartouche, the champleve border decorated with a stylized floral scroll on celeste bleu, centering a bevelled glass, supported by a pair of silvered bronze putto, together with a pair of champleve and silvered bronze candlesticks with female nude caryatids. Mirror: 13" h, 10" w, Candlesticks: 9 3/4" h.
