Three Persian Manuscript Pages.

Watercolored Persian manuscript pages with some gold coloring and handlettering to verso of each page; the largest (13" x 8") depicting the exchange of currency among five men, one seated on a platform under a canopy in a garden holding two bags of gold.
The medium-sized page (9 1/4" x 6 1/2") shows a young prince and his lover seated on a rug next to a lotus-filled stream. A female attendant offers a refreshment. The border is embellished with floral designs and another young prince holding a flower observing the scene. The smallest page (9" x 5") details a royal couple in a more passionate embrace while a female servant looks on. The background shows a river or small lake with swans.
