Signed R. Rousseau. Both figures are glazed in cobalt, yellow, aqua, and brown while one has a red body, the other green, supported by green glazed tiered foliage bases, incised on both bases "R, Rousseau."

Comprising; a band leader in a tricorn hat, a drummer, a cello player and a French horn player, all colorfully glazed and standing on rocaille bases embellished with gilding. Band leader faintly marked Japan, the other three with overglaze enamel marks for Volkstedt.
