210. A Continental Empire Garniture Vase, circa 1805

The baluster form vase with a ruffled rim, molded with "c" scrolls, flanked by entwined serpent handles, the lower half of the vase enameled in apple green, the rim, serpents, and scrolls picked out in gilt, the base impressed with faint mark.
Larger: 7 1/2" h., smaller: 6 3/4" h.

Condition: larger: enamel and gilding rubbed, no cracks or chips, smaller hairline crack and rim chips enamel and gilding flaking.
