The rectangular hinged form applied with an ivory veneer on recto and verso, the lid centering a carved cornucopia issuing shells and scrolls, opening to reveal a purple satin interior fitted with two pockets inscribed "won Oct. 2nd 1880 by John Willis, Presented 2nd August 1880," the brass fittings engraved with scrolling foliage. 2 2/3" h., 5 1/2" w.
