Comprising; a hinged lid rectangular burl wood box, the lid inset with an ebony and mother-of-pearl elipse, opening to reveal a tortoise-shell veneered interior; together with a hinged-lid horn snuff box, the lid incised with a stylized geometric pattern and monogram, opening to reveal a cork-lined lid. Burl 3 3/4" l., 2 1/4" w.; horn 2 1/2" l., 2" w.

Condition: burl with some loss at hinge, small loss to mother of pearl, lid veneer with loss one corner, writing and warping bottom, with two small losses, staining near hinge, cork with some losses, lid does not fit flush, small loss near bottom.
