The tapered cylindrical form, engraved with a Greek key band draped with flowers and monogrammed, flanked by double handles, the rims beaded, surmounted by a lid with an ogee knop, raised over four outswept scroll feet, stamped Meriden.

Manufactured by the Acme Silver Co, the cranberry glass cylinder molded with thumbprints, painted in polychrome enamels with flowers fitted with a plated silver stand raised over four scroll feet, surmounted by a domed lid, together with matching tongs, the base "Acme Silver Co. Toronto."
