Modeled as an opened nut, applied with an acorn bearing branch handle, raised over a nest of acorn leaves over four scrolled feet, stamped "Middletown Plate Co., Middletown Conn." with scales.
9 1/2" h., 1" w., 6 1/4" d.

Condition: small stress cracks on each side of nut where it connects to the top, slightly out of round.
