511. A Persian Hamadan Runner, Early 20th Century

The ground of the length of the runner woven with three subtle cartouche-like shapes, centered by three ornate cartouche medallions extended by palmettes, inside a unique meandering floral border, all in red, creme, navy, ice blue, green, brown, and pink. Wool pile on cotton warp.
