525. A Persian Isfahan Carpet, Early 20th Century

The central four-pointed medallion centerd by a small oval and extended at two ends by a palmette, all inside a cartouche field woven with branches and palmettes, the four corners profusely decorated with vines, inside a primary meandering palmette border, all in blue, creme, red, pine green, and brown. Wool pile on cotton warp. 54" x 84".
