A classical female figure seated on an ornate bench with scroll and scribe in hand with a dore and silvered finish, mounted to a shapely white onyx base centered by a clock, the face with Roman numerals and labeled "Gautier, Rue des pes Mont Martre 3", the works stamped "F. Gautier, A. Paris, 4654", flanked by candleabras of classical form in dore and silvered finishes, raised on onyx bases. 17 1/4" h.
