578. A Walnut Mantle Clock, German, circa 1900

The domed top with a molded band, over a rectangular hinged door with arched glazed panel and flanked by turned half columns, the brass face with engraved foliate design and Arabic numerals, lower portion impressed "Germany", the works marked "Unghans" within a star, "A13", and "Germany" with a wonderful chime.
17 3/4" h., 13 1/2" w., 5 1/2" d.
