Lithograph after engraving by William Woodruff with fascimile text of the Declaration of Independence surrounded by decorated medallion presidential portraits of Washington, John Adams and Jefferson, surmounted by eagle and enhanced with cornucopiae and banners, and by medallions containing the arms of the thirteen original states. Printed in foliage below the bottom medallion: "Lith de M. Condition: In original, untouched condition. Paper adhered to wooden backing board, wrapped around edges. Remnants of paper glued over two knot holes on backing board. Old water staining on paper and backing board. Slight lifting of paper surface in two small areas.
