208. A WMF Silver Centerbowl, Karlsruhe School, German, circa 1900

After a Max Leugner design, the elongated form cast with stylized flowers, flanked by scrolled handles surmounted by frolicking putti, all raised over four foliate bracket feet, hallmarked WMF MR with silver content mark OX 1-0, together with a white metal liner.
