Flatwoven in horizontal strips of solid color, hook medallions, and octagonal motifs in rich red, navy, medium blue, dark green, creme, and mustard. Wool warp, wool weft.
Note: Shahsavan textiles are made by nomadic peoples in the areas between Iran and Russia and are all natural dyes.
