375. A Vernis Martin Style Bombay Music Stand, Late 19th Century

The shaped top with three quarter pierced gallery and centered by a painted musical motif, over a single door with a painted scene of a maiden embracing a horn and lyre and surrounded by putti, each side painted with a sunset motif, raised on cabriole legs, the body, door, and legs all trimmed in metal mounts.
