506. A Coalport Neoclassical Style Porcelain Part Dessert Service, Shropshire, England, circa 1810

Comprising; a rim soup plate, three coffee cans, two teacups, and two saucers, all decorated with tooled and shaded gilding depicting classical figures, putti, altars, and trophies, all with gilt rims and handles.
Rim soup bowl 8-1/4" d., coffee can 2-1/2" h., tea cup 2-3/8" h., saucer 5-1/4" d.

Note: Classical decoration, particularly profiles, was popular with London porcelain decorations in the early part of the 19th Century.
Condition: rim soup with small flakes and wear to bottom, gilding slightly rubbed, one saucer crazed on reverse with star cracks, one saucer with starburst crack on reverse.
