Max Arthur Cohn (American, born 1903) "Road to Easton". color serigraph, circa 1942, signed in the image lower right, matted. 13-1/4" x 18-7/8" (image).
Leonard Ptylak (American, 1910-1999) "Skaters". color serigraph, signed in pencil lower right, matted. 11" x 15-1/2" (image).

Note: Another print of Leonard Pytlak's "Skaters" (Central Park) was exhibited in the National Archives exhibition "A New Deal for the Arts" 1997-98. "Pytlak studied at the Neward School of Fine and Industrial Art, and at the NYC WPA/FAP. In 1941 he was awarded a Guggenheim fellowship to explore new techniques in color lithography and serigraphy. He was twice president of the National Serigraphy Society and taught screenprinting to may students." (Reba and Dave Williams, American Screenprints, New York, National Academy of Design, 1987.)
Condition: Cohn with small paper loss in right corner of margin; Ptylak with very slight time-toning at edges of sheet.
