Modeled as a cook wearing a tri-corner hat, green jacket, and breaches painted with floral sprays, a lavender apron, his pot slung over his shoulder, clutching his spoon in one hand and pot and lid in the other, together with his female companion garbed in a puce bodice, flowered skirt, and dust cap, both raised on grassy "C" scroll bases, underglaze blue Volkstedt mark. 10 1/2" h.
