78. A Daum Nancy Cameo and Enamelled Glass Venetian Scene Vase with Silver Gilt Plated Mount

Of spherical form with trefoil mouth, and pinched base, the grey glass walls overlaid in pale blue, orange, and yellow, cameo carved with a scene of Venice from the water with figures riding in a gondola, the gilt silver plated base in the form of reeds and grasses at the water's edge. Signed Daum Nancy with Croix de Lorraine and artist's initial D in enamel. 3 1/2" h.
