459. A French Empire Style Mantel Clock, Late 19th Century

The works maked with impressed lettering "DEPIN, A, PARIS", the circular silvered engraved face and inset with a seconds dial, all framed by a dore laurel wreath raised on an alabaster body with dore mounts framing a thermometer over an acanthus leaf molding, supported on a dore and alabaster plinth, including dome.

460. A Dore Bronze and Marble Mantel Clock, French, 19th Century

The white metal case surmounted by a dore bronze urn over a casket formed top and flanked by acorn finials, the enameled dial detailed with floral garlands in pink, green and blue, with black enameled Arabic numerals, filigree dials, marked with maker's name (illegible) and "Paris", framed by dore mounts, the case flanked by fluted columns, over a marble and dore plinth, raised on six dore bronze feet. Works stamped "4124 AD. Mougin Deux Medailles", the bell inscribed "Jiavi, 22 Rue Baridin."

The molded cornice over a glazed hinged door flanked by half columns, the interior fitted with a brass face engraved and enameled with Arabic numerals and decorated with a silvered floral mount with the blossom issuing a woman's face, the pendulum with applied silvered Art Nouveau mount.
