Laszlo Neogrady excelled at figure and landscape painting. For much of his life he was active in Budapest where he first studied art before continuing his education in Munich. He eventually returned to Budapest where he taught watercolor painting, and worked in a vigorous post-impressionist manner. His landscapes are among his most sensitive efforts. In these he explored a wide range of atmospheric conditions.

Condition: frame is chipped, yellowed varnish, surface soil.
