The Tretyakov State Gallery.

Portfolio of 24 color reproductions of well-known artworks from the permanent collection of the Tretyakov Gallery, the Moscow museum dedicated to displaying and preserving work by Russian artists. India Early Minshall bookplate on inside cover of portfolio.

The portfolio reproductions are tipped-in and mounted on light-weight card stock, and have numbered tissue guards. The portfolio also contains a 16-page text block in English describing the history of the Tretyakov Gallery, and entries on each of the paintings reproduced, with biographies of the artists. Among the 24 artists included are: F. Rokotov, O. Kiprensky, V. Tropinin, S. Shchedrin, A. Ivanov, P. Fedotov, V. Perov, I. Shishkin, I. Repin, I Levitan, and V. Serov.
