Two plates from J. and J. Boydell's famous two-volume elephant folio, "A Collection of Prints, From Pictures Painted for the Purpose of Illustrating the Dramatic Works of Shakespeare by the Artists of Great-Britain," 1803.

In this lot, one engraving depicts Act II. Scene VII. "The Seven Ages. The Seventh Age." R. Smirke, R. A., painter. I. P. Simon, engraver.

The other engraving depicts Act II, Scene VII. "The Seven Ages. Sixth Age." R. Smirke, R. A., painter. I. Ogborn, engraver. See Lot 15229 for second set. Approximate size: 20" x 26 1/2".
