Comprising two emblematic seasonal figures; one putti modeled as "winter", his head downcast and drawing cloak over his body, the other putti modeled as "autumn", crowned with a coronet of fruiting vines, gathering bunches of grapes in his smock, raised on square bases and covered with a thick white glaze, winter incised with intertwining LS, autumn impressed 263. 6 1/4" h.

Condition: winter with wear to edge of cloak, base, basin and finger of putti, autumn with applied vinous decoration with a few small chips, three flakes to glaze on putti body.
