Each urn form raised over a gilt metal reed and ribbon square base, surmounted by an acorn finial, one painted with a scene of a young man, the other with a young lady, both in 18th Century style attire, inclosed within a gilt foliate reserve on an underglaze blue ground, gilt with stylized floral sprays and leaves, the metal mounts stamped "France". 9 1/4" h.
