279. Two Finely Detailed Biedermeier Mother of Pearl and Silver Serving Pieces, Vienna, circa 1839

Comprising; a ladle and a slice, each with mother of pearl handle carved with a palmette terminate, the silver server pierced with swan strapwork, the ladle with stylized foliate relief, stamped HST with indistiguishable mark. Slice: 12" l., ladle: 15 1/2" l.
