The stylized scroll issuing a single light, surmounted by a black tole shade, and raised over a leaf and berry circular base, signed "h vian"in script.
Note: See Les Bronzes Dores Francais du XVIIIe siecle by Pierre Verlet, Picard 1987. Vian was born in Turenne in 1860 and is listed circa 1900 as working at 5 Rue de Thurigny. 27" h.
