150. A Salt Glazed Stoneware Teapot, Staffordshire, England, 19th Century, Possibly Woods

The globular form molded with medallions on a pebbled ground surmounted by a guilloche, foliate spot, twig-form handle, surmounted by a hinged white metal lid and cornucopia finial, applied with knot mark on bottom. 6 1/4" h.

151. An Assorted Lot of Ceramics, Staffordshire England, 19th Century

Comprising a creamware bowl painted in polychrome enamels with shells, the reverse numbered in iron red #1045, possibly Spode, together with a scalloped porcelain dish painted with blue and puce flowers, the details picked out in gilt, possibly Coalport or Derby. Bowl: 3"h., 6 1/8"d., Dish: 1 1/2"h., 7 /2"d.

152. Two Transfer Decorated Plates

Comprising; an Edge Malkin & Co. earthenware plate decorated in blue and white with an aesthetic style scene of ducks and lotus blossoms, circa 1880, the reverse stamped in blue with dog trademark and impressed "Edge Malkin & Co."; together with a Copeland Spode blue and white transfer decorated plate depicting the "Orphan Asylum Society of the City of Brooklyn" enclosed by a floral border, the reverse stamped in blue with commemorative description and impressed with Copeland crown. Copeland 10" d., Edge Malkin 9 3/4" d.

The cylindrical neck with reticulated band and lappets tapering to a bulbous body with applied gilded handles centering reticulated rondels, the body decorated with tenous chrysanthemums on the creamy ground, raised on a circular molded foot, printed crown and circle mark in purple, numbered 1261, decorators initials C.E. 20" h.

The baluster form molded with Renaissance style strapwork and masks, with scrolled mask handle, the cream ground enameled with stylized flowers in yellow and blue, the details picked out in gilding, the bottom stamped in puce with crowned circle mark and registry number 233064. 12 1/4" h.

155. A Royal Worcester Teapot England, circa 1884

The cylindrical form molded with flowering branches and berries, picked out in brown, purple, iron red, and green, enclosed by grey transfer decorated floral panels, offset by a gilt handle, and surmounted by a similarly decorated lid, stamped on the bottom of the teapot in green with crowned Royal Worcester mark over "v" wear mark the interior of the lid stamped similarly in grey. 6 1/4" h.
