Comprising; an Edge Malkin & Co. earthenware plate decorated in blue and white with an aesthetic style scene of ducks and lotus blossoms, circa 1880, the reverse stamped in blue with dog trademark and impressed "Edge Malkin & Co."; together with a Copeland Spode blue and white transfer decorated plate depicting the "Orphan Asylum Society of the City of Brooklyn" enclosed by a floral border, the reverse stamped in blue with commemorative description and impressed with Copeland crown.
