The shouldered form finely painted in polychrome enamels with the Romanov crest, enclosed within a ground of gilt scrolling foliage, surmounted by a gilt metal screw cap. 7 1/2"l.,4"w. This flask was used by Alexander II (1818-81) on the royal yacht. Provenance:Formerly in the Collection of India Early Minshall.
