The rectangular hinged lid form veneeered in burlwood, inlaid with various fruitwoods depicting a marriage scene enclosed within a losenge reserve, surrounded by floral bouquets, opening to reveal a divided inner compartment, fitted with an engraved ogee - form lock and two hinges.
