The whole robe constructed from pieces of silk ikat fabric dyed magenta, purple, yellow, and white, the outer edges detailed with a cotton knit patterned strip, and lined on the inside with a cotton floral cloth.

Sewn with nine large circular starbursts inside three concentric borders and four small circular starbursts, the negative spaces sewn with small stylized palmettes inside a border of small starbursts and leaves, all in magenta, green, blue, yellow, and white. Cotton thread on cotton ground.
