The silvered five and one half inch dial with engraved Roman and Arabic numerals set within a baroque style frame with front pendulum, housed within a walnut and mixed wood case with arched glazed door over a short drawer, case decorated with applied carvings and inlay, raised on bun feet, case with less age.

The four inch dial with white enameled cartouche centered with black Roman numerals, bell striking movement and oak leaf and acorn pendulum with new silk thread, set within a waisted bombay case surmounted by a cherub perched upon a stack of books, veneered in a red brown tortoise shell inlaid with brass and steel outlined with gilt bronze mounts with a conforming wall bracket.

272. A Dore Bronze Mantle Clock and Candelabra, Late 19th Century

Surmounted by a lady in Elizabethan garb resting on a square case centered by an enameled face with black Roman numerals, flanked by canted corners formed as niches with soldiers standing guard, raised on an elaborate base with a rectangular top in the form of a rug, the front centered by a medallion with a soldier on horseback and each corner with scrolling foliage over a foliate and scalloped apron centered by a shield with a cross and lion, the pair of four light candelabrum sympathetically fashioned and surmounted by a finial snuffer.

The hood surmounted by a broken arch over a glazed door revealing a painted face with shades of green in each corner, white round dial with black Roman numerals decorated with two birds in blue, iron red, and yellow, the hood flanked by baluster form supports, the case centered by a hinged door with scalloped top and flanked by canted sides over a box base.
