| 272. A Dore Bronze Mantle Clock and Candelabra, Late 19th Century
Surmounted by a lady in Elizabethan garb resting on a square case centered by an enameled face with black Roman numerals, flanked by canted corners formed as niches with soldiers standing guard, raised on an elaborate base with a rectangular top in the form of a rug, the front centered by a medallion with a soldier on horseback and each corner with scrolling foliage over a foliate and scalloped apron centered by a shield with a cross and lion, the pair of four light candelabrum sympathetically fashioned and surmounted by a finial snuffer. Clock 21-1/4" h., 17-1/4" w., 6-1/4" d. Candelabrum 19-1/2" h.
