Emanuele Brugnoli was born in Bologna, and specialized in painting scenic views of Venice, both in oil and in watercolor. He regularly participated in Florentine and Venetian expositions, where he exhibited his colorful depictions of Venetian canals, the Piazza San Marco and the Bacino di San Marco.

Condition: slight surface soil and discoloration. One long scuff in upper right quadrant.
