| 158. A Fine Derby Topographical Vase Garniture with Named Views, England, circa 1820, Assembled
Comprising; a large center vase painted with a brookside landscape with Gothic ruins in the background, stamped Bloor Derby; together with two smaller vases, one painted with a cottage, the other with castle ruins, marked in iron red with "D" surmounted by batons and a crown and "Near Derby" and "Near Italy"; all three campagna vases with central scene enclosed within gilt octagonal frames, on an underglaze blue ground gilt with scrolling foliage, flanked by double masked handles, raised on square bases, marked in iron red respectively. Center 11 1/2" h., side 9 1/8" h.
