The boxed set comprising twelve dessert knives and twelve dessert forks, each with mother of pearl handles, plated silver ferrells embossed with stylized foliage, the forks and blades also engraved with stylized foliage. Stamped "PA + SEP". Fork 6 3/4" l., knife 8" l.

220. An English Plated Silver Turkey Dome and Undertray, Sheffield, Late 19th/Early 20th Century

The plated silver dome surmounted by a leafy "C" shaped handle, over a waisted dome with gadrooned foliate band and fitted undertray, the beaded rim framing a well and tree interior, the hollow base with hot water receptacle, raised on four scrolled and beaded legs. Marked with impressed "JH" and "Walker & Hall, Electro-works, Sheffield, 3502" and "W & H" within a flag.27" l., 18" w., 13 3/4" h.

The pierced rectangular form surmounted by two hinged glass inkwells and a pen support, applied with a centered plaque engraved "Presented to the Rev. George Iliff by his __? as a mark of their esteem December 20, 1858," the base applied with a beaded edge, all raised on four shell and scroll feet. 2 3/4" h., 10" w., 6 1/2" d.

Manufactured by Christophle, comprising; a round tray with pronounced rim; an ovoid teapot with hinged handle and tapered spout, the lid off-set; globular cream jug with strap handle; and a covered sugar bowl with off-set lid. All stamped with rooster mark, Gallia France, Prod. Christophle. Tray 13 1/2" d., tea pot 4 1/2" h., cream jug 2 1/2" h., sugar 2 1/4" h.
