237. A Cruet Set and Stand, Late 19th Century

Comprising; two cut glass castors surmounted by plated silver lids, two cut glass cruet jars surmounted by faceted stoppers, a hinged lid mustard jar with spoon, and a small cruet jar, together with a plated silver stand pierced with scrolling foliage, applied with a shell and scroll rim, raised on four shell and scroll feet and surmounted by a foliate handle. 12" h.

239. A Plated Silver Spoon Holder, American, Late 19th Century

The globular form raised on a round footrim, flanked by stylized handles pierced with squirrels, surmounted by a stepped lid with songbird finial, the sides applied with laurel leaf rests to hold spoons. Stamped WR Quadruple Plate New York. Together with eleven sterling and Continental silver souvenir spoons, all marked. 8 1/2" h.
