261. Jean-Jacques Pradier (called James) (French and Swiss, 1790-1852)

"Atalanta, Fastening Her Sandal".
The nude figure kneeling to tie her sandal, signed Pradier, stamped Susse F.G. with golden reddish brown patination. This work was first exhibited at the Salon of 1850. 9" h.
