406. An Italian Rococo Style Carved, Painted and Gilt Bombe Commode, 19thc.

The shaped top over a conforming case with two long drawers carved with a stylized shell and foliate motif, raised on cabriole legs , the entire surface painted white, details picked out in gilt, fitted with bronze pulls and escutcheons. 35 3/4" h., 37" w., 22 1/2" d.
