218. A Pair of Correia Botanical Paperweights, California

Each grey matte sphere polished to form a clear oculus, revealing stylized blue morning glories in one paperweight, and an iron-red flower in the other, both signed in script on the bottom "Correia," the morning glory dated "1986, 42/200," the iron red flower dated "1984, 9/200 limited edition." 2 1/2" h., 2 1/2" d.

Comprising; a blue shaded to clear paperweight, cut with an oculus, inset with a ruby and cobalt sphere, acid etched "Caithness Mariner two Scotland 553/750"; a miniature floral paperweight on a cobalt ground with metallic pebbles, raised over a pronounced clear footrim; and a clear paperweight inset with cobalt, ruby emerald, and orange spirals, acid etched mark unreadable.
