The cup engraved with imimages of Christ, the Virgin, Saint John the Baptist, and the Holy Cross, all enclosed within rococo cartouches, the stem terminating in a pronounced circular base engraved with tools from the passion of Christ enclosed within elaborate scroll cartouches. 9 3/4" h. 12.9 ozt.

29. A Set of Silver Gilt and Enamel Order of Saint Anna Medals, Possibly by Rothe, Vienna, Circa 1900
Comprising; a star-form silver gilt medal applied with crossed swords enameled with crimson guilloche enamel surmounted by the motto "Aman Iust Piet Fi dem" surrounding a cross; together with a crimson guilloche enameled Latin cross juxtaposed with two crossed swords, centering an enamel rodel depicting Saint Anna on recto, and a monogram on verso, mounted with a jump ring. Motto Medal: 3/4" d.; Cross: 2" d.

30. An Icon Depicting The Apparition of The Mother of God, Central Russia, 19th Century
Traditionally painted with a scene of her apparition to Saint Sergei of Radonezh, encased in a plated silver brass engraved and repousse oklad, applied with gilt plaques and halos. Note: Saint Sergei (Died 1392) became the patron saint of the Moscow principality during the 15th Century and a leader of the monastic revival during this time.

the hinged architectural form surmounted by an onion dome with a cross at its apex, the hinged door engraved with a scene of the Crucifixion, opening to reveal a two-part interior, containing a miniature chalice engraved with a cross, a spoon, and a rectangular box engraved with a cross, all four pieces are stamped 84, vs and Moscow's townmark of Saint George. 4 3/4" l., 2 1/4" l.

The cylindrical form surmounted by a hinged lid with ogee knop, offset by a strap handle, the body engraved with an image of Daphne metamorphosing into a tree, further inscribed in Russian "To A.P.
