Each circular form, painted with a voluptuous, partially clothed, blonde haired woman, emblemmatic of sensuality; the first holding a girl with grey rabbit, the second a swan, and the third a strawberry, unsigned, framed. 4" d.

394. Two Finely Carved Walnut Handmirrors, French, Early 20th Century

The first with oval glass contained in a frame surmounted by a carved dove with wings spread over a delicately carved floral garland, supported by a carved female figure, partially draped with a cloth winding down to cover her feet and forming the handle, the second with a cartouche shaped glass in a carved frame, surmounted by an exhuberant c-scroll terminating in flowerheads, the frame border continuing to a scroll handle. first 21" l., second 17 1/4" l.

395. A Capo di Monte Style Porcelain Box, France, 20th Century

The oval hinged lid molded with one cherub playing a lyre, the other a horn amidst swirling clouds, the oval body molded with a procession of putti bound together by an ivy garland, the details picked out in buff, iron red, blue and green opening to reveal a single rose blossom painted on the lid, the base stamped in blue with five pronged crowned N, signed "made in France" in iron-red. 4" h., 5 1/2" d.
