No. 563 of 850. Deluxe edition of the catalogue of the exhibition held in Antwerp Sept.-Dec. 1991, numbered on the verso of the lid. Square folio in black slipcase . All contents loose, as issued. Contents are housed in a handsome and massive wooden box bearing a faux-wood facsimile of Duchamp's own 'mental' CHESSBOARD on the top of the sliding lid. It is a reduced facsimile of original 1937 Echequier.

This commemorative album, a trove of objets designed in the spirit of the boîte en valise, contains a descriptive checklist of the exhibits (a leporello of 64pp.); a portfolio with reproductions of works by Duchamp, also including a copy of H. Vuibert, "Les anaglyphes géométriques" (Paris, 1912), complete with 3-D glasses; a book, "Marcel Duchamp," with texts by Arturo Schwarz (24pp.); and an audiocassette of Duchamp speaking (housed within a velvet-covered box bearing a miniature foam-rubber facsimile of Duchamp's breast-objet "Prière de toucher") which is labeled "Priere d"Ecouter" (Please Listen), and other items.
