Limited Edition, 1 of 387, this copy "D", 1 of 22 which contain a separately boxed Additional Set of Plates together with progressives, stencils and other material relating to the production of the hand-coloured plates. Half morocco over hand-marbled paper with gilt lettering to spine and front cover of the text volume. Contains facsimiles of the New Zealand and Collins sets and the Fitzwilliam plates in three volumes of half morocco over cloth. Slipcased and boxed in hand-marbled paper and morocco. Additional set of plates includes: Label Printed for Original Publication, March 1826; Colour Versions of William Blake's Book of Job Designs from the Circle of John Linnell; Proofs, Guides and Stencils for Colour Plate from Trianon Press, 1974; and an Alternative Printing without Plate Mark.

Portfolio includes the complete series of hand-cut guide-sheets & stencils for plate 4 of "The Bard"; the complete series of collotype and hand-coloured progressive states of plate 4; finished colour plates for framing; early free-hand trials and correction proofs; collotype negatives corrected by hand; "Eton College Ode" and "The Progress of Poesy", the complete series before hand-colouring and other early proof plates; and miscellaneous notices and press material. Slipcase boxes made of hand-marbled paper and morocco with beveled edges.

With eleven plates reproduced from copy C, one of the earliest of seventeen complete copies known. Printed in Paris by the collotype and hand-stencil process on both sides of Whatman paper in a golden brown ink and simple washes in delicate tints. Designed to imitate Blake's original, but each page watermarked with his monogram.

With twenty-seven plates reproduced from copy D, one of only nine complete copies known. Printed in Paris by the collotype and hand-stencil process, "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell" is said to be the most exciting and readable of all Blake's books.
