Specially made natural wove paper, binding is of natural deerskin, and the sides of the boards are covered with an imported hand-made Cockerell paper with a feathered pattern. THE PATHFINDER. Illustrated by Richard M. Powers. The Stinehour Press: 1965. Limited Edition, 9 of 12. Contains nineteen full-color collages: six double-spreads, seven full-page, and six part-page-in-text. Designed by Roderick Stinehour with 12 pt. Goudy Modern for the text and Le Mercure for the title-page heading and chapter initials. Royal Octavo size consisiting of 532 pages and for the three-piece binding the shelfback is covered in natural-finish black buckram, and the sides in a decorative paper printed with a pattern painted by Mr. Powers. The title is stamped on the spine in gold leaf. THE SPY: A TALE OF THE NEUTRAL GROUND. Illustarted by Henry C. Pitz. A. Colish: 1963. Limited Edition, 3 of 12. Twenty-eight full, hand-colored illustrations (three being double-spreads), thirty monochrome drawings and an end-paper drawing. Super Royal Octavo containing 456 pages, text set in 12 pt. English Monotype Bell, headings are set in Bell Italics, and chapter initials in Erasmus. The paper is a natural white, vellum finish. The boards are covered in tough cotton fabric bearing an authentic ear;y American all-over pattern; the title is stamped in gold on the leather label affixed to the shelfback.
