The kingwood 1/4 veneered top fitted with a "Sevres" platter transfer decorated with a pair of rustic lovers in the country, signed A. Max, reserved on a green ground with gilt lattice and scroll design, over a parquetry line inlaid frieze, raised on reeded tapering legs ending in brass sabots.
