Painted with trophies, cherubs, and a classical beauty, signed "Collot", enclosed within a heavily gilt scrolled frame on a blue ground, flanked by gilt metal handles, raised over a gilt metal base stamped "France" and surmounted by a gilt pineapple form finial, the lid stamped in iron red with a faux Sevres mark. 11 1/4" h.
