713. A Continential Cup and Saucer Possibly Germiniano Cozzi, Venice, Italy, 18th Century

Painted en grisaille with stylized landscape scenes, the details picked out in iron red and gilt, the bottoms painted in iron red with an anchor. Cup 2/3" h., saucer 4 3/4" d.

714. A Continental Empire Garniture Vase, circa 1805

The baluster form vase with a ruffled rim, molded with "c" scrolls, flanked by entwined serpent handles, the lower half of the vase enameled in apple green, the rim, serpents, and scrolls picked out in gilt, the base impressed with faint mark. Larger 7 1/2" h., smaller 6 3/4" h.

715. A Continental Porcelain Ewer, Early 19th Century

Probably Sampson, modeled with two putti struggling to climb up the neck, scrolling strap handle, "C" scrolls painted in polychrome enamels with harbour scenes, the details picked out in puce, raised on a scroll base, the reverse with crowned double "F" in iron red. 7 1/4" h.

716. A Continental Harlequin Figure, Late 19th Century

Modeled as a harlequin with patchwork clothes and jester hat, playing a violin on the back of a dog, raised on a base applied with polychrome flowers, the base marked with crowned interlocking "C's" in underglaze blue. 6 1/4" h.

The oviod form raised on a pronounced footrim, flanked by gilt lion-mask handles, and surmounted by a cover with a tapered knop, finely painted in polychrome enamels with cornucopia, putti and trophies on a yellow ground, unmarked. 8 1/4" H.

The scalloped forms enameled with over glaze blue floral sprays, the rims gilt, the cup and saucer impressed with crowned B.F.B., together with a tea cup and saucer enameled in puce and blue with bellflowers, the details picked out in gilt, possibly Caughly, circa 1790.
